The Decisive Leader Strategy Shift

The Objective

For the last 20 years, my career has been defined by military command and the complexities of IT infrastructure. But as an LTC with an MBA and MS-IT, I’ve realized that the "top" of the mountain is just the base of the next one.

To lead effectively in 2026, you have to bridge the gap between Command, Technology, and Law. I am officially launching a new mission: securing a Juris Doctor (JD) while scaling my advisory business.

Why I’m "Building in Public"

Most leaders hide the "grunt work." They show you the result, but not the reps. I’m documenting this journey for three reasons:

  1. Accountability: It’s easy to quit in private. It’s hard to quit when your network is watching.
  2. Methodology: I want to show other high-performers how to use Decisive Leadership to manage a massive pivot without sacrificing family or health.
  3. The Future of Tech Law: By the time I have that JD, I will have "built" my expertise in public, proving my value to future clients and colleagues.

The Current Loadout I’m starting this journey with a focused strike on my technical and analytical foundations:

  • The Study:LSAT Logical Reasoning (Training the brain to find the "flaw" in every argument).
  • The Tech: Finishing my PMI AI Certification and initiating CISSP training.
  • The Reality: Time Management will become key.

Rhythm

I’ll continue to post updates here. No fluff. Just the systems, the setbacks, and the small wins.

The mission starts now. Onward.
